LEAGUE CITY, Texas-Three family members were in the hospital Sunday after their boat went airborne onto land in League City.

It happened around 12:00 p.m. near Egret Bay Boulevard.

It was a mother, her nine year old son and an eldery friend of the mother. They were life flighted to the hospital. The mother died while in surgery. The son is in icu with many injuries. Not much is known about the man however he is alive.
